At last, some really brutal, tech death metal.-

This is rad, easily one of the more genuine sounding 90's OSDM throwbacks I've heard in a while.
|
| |
how is this brutal death... and lol the bandcamp tags it as goregrind and slam wtf there's hardly any breakdowns at all let alone that kind
"in vein of early albums of Monstrosity, Suffocation and Sinister" is correct
also yeah this is pretty good
|
| |
Getting some awesome Van Drunen-ness in the vocals
|
| |
"in vein of early albums of Monstrosity, Suffocation and Sinister" is correct"
the suffocation similarity would insinuate that it is brutal death metal tho
|
| |
cmon early suffo never went that far
and yeah spirit [2] on that
|
| |
idk i always thought suffocation across the board pretty much set the standard for bdm
|
| |
inspired it in a big way no doubt about it but their earlier stuff doesn't go that far
|
| |
It depends what you consider "Brutal Death Metal" really - I consider bands like Brodequin, Deeds of Flesh, Devourment, Sepsism, etc. to be in that sphere, and really I have no problem lumping Suffocation in with that crowd in some respects. Today though, BDM basically means gurgling slam/grind from Indonesia.
|
| |
yea fair enough
what's important is that this is pretty good and it doesn't slam so yeah
|
| |
that artwork is cash money
|
| |
Yeah for real, killer artwork. Although green was a bad choice for the album title and they could have done a little more to incorporate the type and logo into the artwork better, it's just slapped over top.

1. early suffo was the most brutal suffo
2. ghastly tags every single release with the same genre tags for some reason, since they primarily release slam albums like this get tagged slam
