Interested in hearing these

Not been very impressed with anything these guys have done post-godspeed, but this sounds like something I'd definitely be interested to hear. Even though I've often felt Dusk... was just a tad overrated
| |
Sounds like it could be interesting
| |
Hammer is the best album since their peak (Vempire-Damnation) so long may this continue.
Also unheard old stuff sounds interesting!
| |
Cool, keen for both the new and the old here
| |
Where the fuck is Hawks?
| |
good question
| |
I told him about it in his shoutbox before posting this article, maybe that explains his absence.
| |
will definitely listen at the very least. are the rerecording old material or just releasing a bookshelfed album from the 90's?
| |
just a bookshelfed album. i'm looking forward to it as well
| |
Right here fellas.
| |
Thank god! we almost had a BM themed funeral.
| |
Dusk is a fantastic album, i'll have to check.
| |
Oh you know I would never miss out on this party.
| |
Yeah I thought Hawks was Coffin Fodder for a sec
| |
Good to have you Hawks
Bookshelfed is better I reckon, should sound suitably 'dated'
| |
It's crazy that they have additional material from that era seeing as they release Vempire and Dusk both in '96! If it's to the quality of those two releases it should be a treat.
| |
Got the promo for the 'original' version of Dusk and Her Embrace and it is really good. Should appeal to people who's love of CoF begins with their debut and ends with Vempire. The album's production is somewhere between those two albums, and it features more of a conventional black metal growl and not the high pitched screech that is on the current Dusk release.
| |
Preordered it and I can't waittttttttt
| |
There are quite a few differences between these versions and what eventually ended up on Dusk. I'm going to definitely review it.
| |
Insta-5.
| |
It's an insta-4 for me at the moment. There's enough differences that I'm definitely going to keep both versions of the album. Some of the songs are better here and some are still better on the albums that were released before. This album is much more guitar-oriented than the Dusk that eventually got released.
