So good it hurts. The Leprous influence is fantastic.

| |
never heard them before, but these vox are terrible
| |
I really want to be excited about this.
| |
nothing wrong with the vox blacktaxi, its just your taste i guess lol
the mountain is an incredible album, this song was sort of underwhelming on the first listen compared to that though
| |
Omg that was brilliant. So hyped!
| |
yeah, Atlas Stone did a way better job as a first single. This was fine, I guess I just expected more. I hope it grows on me
| |
Yeah, this was awesome, but not as good as Atlas Stone. Still reckon the album will be exceptional though.
Also, this is the first we get to hear of Conner Green's own bass lines and I must say they're gorgeous!

Leprous
| |
better than leprous
| |
not better than Leprous
| |
It's pretty good though wouldn't say Mountain level. The vocals do sound a bit cheesey when he goes high but not that we didn't know that.
| |
SO.FUCKING.GOOD
| |
Agreed I thought it was really good. I loved the atmospheric touches.
| |
Absolutely fantastic. Agreed nice leprous influence
| |
haken > leprous btw
| |
Never heard that band actually. I gotta give them a listen.
| |
I like the heavy bridge and the "I've seen things you can't conceiiiiiiiiive" but too much chugging in the first half. That's kind of why leprous hasn't really clicked with me yet.
| |
Leprousy
| |
Oh shit everyone is talking about leprous already
| |
love this, apparently it's the most typical "Haken-ish" song on the album, though, so fuck yeah.
| |
Fucking awesome
Good to see them compared to Leprous instead of Dream Theater now
| |
Yeah the DT influences are practically non-existent now. As DT has become stagnant and uninspired, the baton of prog has been passed to the likes of Haken, Leprous etc. and they're running miles with it!
| |
Very excited to see where Haken will go, and yes, it obviously sounds a bit like leprous
| |
Those vocals are amazing, and those bass licks at 1:38 and 2:02. O.O
