The Goo Goo Dolls have posted their obligatory string-laden ballad from the upcoming Transformers movie to their official MySpace site. The soundtrack, which also features Linkin Park, Taking Back Sunday and Mutemath (who perform the classic theme tune), is due for release on July 3.
Amazing. Although I hope their next album doesn't all sound like this, it's great to hear John doing something with his voice. I love this band beyond measure, though, and will always see their shows and buy their albums, no matter how bad they get.
I agree with sam ... i loved the old cartoon series and even collected transformers figures (they were my fav toys when i was a kid).... so am pretty psyched about the movie coming out
