2015-04-06 by everythingburrito | 37 Comments
Pennsylvania metalcore powerhouses August Burns Red have announced that their seventh studio album, Found in Far Away Places, will drop on June 30th. Preorders will start on April 13th.

The band announced the title on their Facebook page along with a teaser at the link below.

The LP will be their first since signing with Fearless Records last August, after a decade-long stint with Solid State Records.

Oh shit I had no idea they switched labels. I wonder if this will affect their music. And unfortunately, the art is predictably ABR....

One of the worst labels they could've picked unfortunately, almost as bad as Victory or Rise.

Never heard of this label, though that name doesn't sound promising.

Teaser was pretty good though

I am sure that this record will be just as predictable as everything else in the ABR discography, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Will probably be a hard 34/190.

Wasn't this already announced months ago and abr publicly stated that the switch in labels wouldn't reflect then musically?

Every band says that when they switch labels though

Shitty label but I have a feeling it wont hinder their creativity or musicianship at all. Teaser sounded gnarly.

This band has made approximately the same album for years but for some maddening reason they keep getting better and better. I still jam the last one all the time.

Love these guys. Hopefully they'll be able to top R&R

R&R was superb. Will check.

Also, people are hating btbam because the song is a disjointed, wonderful mess. This is just a teaser so all we have to go one is R&R and a christmas album. Both of which are good hype machines.

Album will no doubt rule. Hopefully moreso than R&R.

These guys add to their sound and have the ability to get quite stylistically diverse with their music. Yes, this band still play metalcore but if you can't see the evolution from thrill seeker to rescue and restore, there is something wrong with you.

omG aBR swItchEd labels

seriously though it won't effect their sound or music even 1% they're fearless' 2nd biggest band now and they've been doing it so long the record label wouldn't dare tell them to change it

And Leveler still ruled. ABR can't really do any wrong, and unless for whatever reason Fearless did decide to water down their sound, but I doubt it.

Whoa, I just now saw the album artwork. It slays. I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore.
