Gorillaz days are numbered.

2007-04-20 by The Sludge | 14 Comments
Damon Albarn reveals that the Gorillaz movie likely will be the animated outfit's final project.

"We're trying to make a film next, starting in September hopefully," the Gorillaz mastermind says of the feature-length flick, which may be a collaboration with Monty Python filmmaker Terry Gilliam. "It will include a film score. There won't be another pop record."

They have recorded two albums (Gorillaz, Demon Days).

OR REALLY SWEET.

But I doubt it. Not that big of a loss. Gorillaz made for some pretty good radio tunes.

They were good, but longevity was never on the cards.

I don't see the motion picture being anything good...not a huge loss though, although they did have some good tracks.

Although, I do enjoy their music. I don't really care that they're breaking up, though.
