The Tea Party announce new album

Canadian progressive rock outfit The Tea Party are about to end a 10-year period of inactivity regarding the production of new music, with the release of their seventh full-length album.

The album will be titled The Ocean at the End, it consists of 10 songs (plus 2 bonus cuts), and it will be released this Fall. According to rocking.gr, the first single is titled "Water's On Fire" and it will be aired tomorrow (6/24).

Oh my god! Thought this would never happen. Not even in the realm of possibility. I've seen Jeff's
solo stuff twice live now and he puts on an amazing show.

The first time, he was playing his slightly cheesy solo album stuff. Was good.

The second time, he was playing Tea Party material with a different band and it was SUPERB.
Hopefully they tour again with this stuff. They always were underrated post-breakup. Glad to see
they're back.

I made this post and now I can't stop thinking about how awesome that last concert was. He
absolutely nailed the older stuff like Sister Awake. Amazing stage presence and he didn't miss a
beat in the long hiatus. Honestly you wouldn't have noticed the backing band wasn't the original
members if you weren't a hardcore fan. But it's going to be really sweet to see the original lineup
again.
