Guns N Roses Plan World Tour

2007-02-11 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 11 Comments
Guns N' Roses are set to embark upon a fully-fledged world tour beginning in April, taking in South America, South Africa, Australia and the East Asian nations.

The Chinese Democracy World Tour follows on from the largely successful (i.e. started AND finished) tours of Europe last summer and North America in the winter. The band haven't appeared in South America since their infamous appearance at Rock In Rio in 2001, while their performance at South Africa's My Coke Festival will be their first ever in the country.

Frontman Axl Rose, the only survivor of the band's Appetite For Destruction line-up, late last year posted an open letter to fans at GunsNRoses.com, announcing a tentative release date of March 6 for the fabled Chinese Democracy album, in production on-and-off since the late '90s.

More details as they surface.

Bugger. Might have to go overseas when he comes to Aus - dont know if I could handle being around for the temptation of a "GnR" concert, when I know it will be nothing like what I'd want to see.

Is it possible for GNR to have a good album without Slash?
