GnR: Rumors on release

2006-03-03 by Damrod EMERITUS | 16 Comments
New rumors state the new Guns'N Roses-record "Chinese Democracy" will be released as 3 CD Set. This is not officially confirmed though. Axl Rose should have had enough time since the release of the last GnR album, so that, if he was working hard, the 3CD theory would be possible (and maybe something the fans would wish for too).

The long awaited album is rumored to be released this year, no fix date is known so far though

Wow, 3 CDs is alot. I really would much rather see a regular realese or a double CD. 3 CD's seems like it would have alot of filler.

That would be over the top. I'm not expecting much of this album.

Yeah, the odds of no new material for this long followed by a triple album seem a bit...well, unlikely to say the least. I'm becoming increasingly convinced that a new album will be this year though, which could be cool, although the tracks I've heard are uninspired.

Who's in the new line up of G N' R now? Axl Rose... and..? didn't 'Buckethead' leave? who else is in the band now?

I heard Madagascar (one of the new songs they played at Rock In Rio a few years ago), and was surprised that I actually really liked it. Listening to it also makes clear Axl's claims that some of the new songs have arrangements that sound 'kind of like Queen'.
Of course it's not going to sound like the classic G n' R lineup, but hey, has anybody seen Axl try and hit those high notes in Paradise City lately? It's probably a good thing that the sound is different.

i guess it woul dbe ok if he adjust the price...but it's still overkill...he is obsessed with being the greatest...but he never will be...

Axl alone will not make GN'R the greatest, but they will be great. But if Axl, Izzy, and Slash stayed together, they would have been the greatest. No offense to Duff and Steven. Those guys are great musicians, especially Duff, but they don't have the song writing ability to go with their musical talents.

btw...Hetfield, Ulrich, Burton, Mustaine = the greatest of their genre. Too bad Hetfield and Ulrich are assholes, Burton is dead (R.I.P.), and Mustaine was a drug addict and a drunk.

lol..."Gods" like Metallica. Please...don't make me laugh.

Megadeth plays circles around Metallica.

Kill'em All - Four Horseman, Jump in the Fire, Metal Militia, Phantom Lord, 90 percent of guitar solos

Ride the Lightning - Ride the Lightning, Call of Ktulu

Nuff said...

I think The Blues sounded too much like Knockin' on Heaven's Door. But that's just probably me.
