During an interview for the Hellenic Metal Hammer for the promotion of Kings and Thieves, Geoff Tate asked the journalist this:
If I was the problem for the bad Queensryche music during the last 15 years, then where is the music from the rest of the members?
From what's heard in the teaser, some answers are gonna come up for Tate's question.

| |
Better than Dedicated to chaos, Q2K and tribe sure, At least those excrepts sounds promising
| |
Stoked!
| |
Stoked to hear this, especially considering reaction so far and how awful Kings and Thieves is.
| |
Nice teaser. Sounds promising.
| |
not awful but yea it's cheese
| |
I'm still not swayed whatsoever.
| |
The harmonized vocals at the beginning were lolbad, but the rest sounded decent at least. Really hard to tell, though.
| |
heh, that'll be a fun album to listen to
don't know anything bout the quality, but it's definitely going to be better than that crap album Tate released
| |
the video's pathetic, looks like it was made by 15 year-old fan, but sounds promising nevertheless
| |
yea
| |
this band has literally one good album
| |
Hard to tell from that teaser but still it really does sound like it is better than the past albums Queensryche has released. Damn, maybe Tate really was the problem.
| |
Meh, sounds okay. LaTorre sounds like a carbon copy of Tate.
| |
this band has literally one good album
not true
| |
Honestly this new album does not seem like it will be good; Obviously better than Dedicated to Chaos, etc., but this sounds like a crappy hard rock album. Not pumped for this.
| |
Anything is going to be better than their last piece of shit of dedicated to chaos (well, with the exception of tate's solo album, that was also pretty bad either).
| |
So apparently there are two versions of Queensryche co-existing...
| |
Until the courts reach a final verdict about the band name ownership, that is.
| |
That snippet is better than almost everything else they've done since the mid-Nineties.
| |
Dedicated to Chaos wasn't too bad. It just wasn't Queensrÿche. It was Geoff Tate solo stuff dressed as QR to sell. But anyway, this sounds good, and should blow Tate and anything from the last 15 years of the QR discography out of the water
| |
Which one is this then?
| |
This is the one without Spitty McGee.
| |
Well the battle for the names over.
