Modern Deftones is definitely more about the 'sound' and production in general than the individual components or songs.

Still, it's good, so what can I complain.

Also liking the fact that Sergio's been pulled forward in the mix since DE.

Pretty good but isn't anywhere near as good as Leathers. This album is proving to be something special considering I heard Rosemary as well.

I can't decide which song is better. If the rest is so awesome as these 2 tracks, this will be one of the best albums of the year.

The first few seconds of this remind me of an old Burzum song. Can't remember which one. Rules.

Enjoyable single, very different considering it's over 6 minutes long, as a single that's rare. New direction for Deftones' calling back somewhat to self titled album (2003) Excellent sound quality on the Purevolume version, plus it's longer. The youtube/soundcloud sound is compressed, and quite tough to hear the instruments in the mix.

All around an enjoyable song, if vocalist Chino Moreno had utilized his vocal approach from past Deftones albums, the song might stick out a bit more, as his vocals here are very clean, completely abandoning his unique style that made Deftones famous, but as we could expect they will always sound different on each record.
