that was back in the day, currently I think that there's a larger chance to get big in the music business if you're a hot guy/girl even if you dont know shit about music.
plus, a lot artist that are actually good musicians sell their integrity once they hit the jackpot.

Honestly, I'm a sucker for glam metal soloing, and if these guys got a singer with some sort of range and wrote lyrics that weren't so damn cheesy sometimes, I could probably enjoy them...
