The Sword has announced their return to the studio on June 25th to record their 4th studio
album, Apocryphon. The album will be produced by J. Robbins and is The Sword's first album
with their new label partners Razor & Tie. The album will feature cover art by famed comic

I was actually wondering if these guys would make a new album this year. But I haven't heard their last two albums so I should probably get on those.

How power metal-ly are these guys? I might have to check out their last LP.

Seeing as they're a stoner metal band, I'd say not power metal-ly at all.

I wouldn't describe them as a Power Metal band, cause they don't have such elements in their music.

Saw them with Dead Meadow last July and they were GOOD.

Seeing these dudes at Orion Fest along with Redfang, Baroness, Volbeat, Cage The Elephant, A7X, Metallica (twice), and probably others I forgot to mention. But fuck to the yes.
