It's not as good as Mechanize but it's another solid album. I don't know what is up with putting those two non tracks at the end like that. I'm talking about "Religion is Flawed" and "Human Augmentation". Having the drums be programmed is a huge disappointment. I think Mechanize was the peak guys and that being their 7th album, that's amazing for a band to do.

After going back and listening to all of their albums during the past few weeks, I would have to say that I think Mechanize is my favorite overall. Of course Demanufacture and Obsolete are amazing, but I don't like every single song off of each of those albums. I love every song on Mechanize. I think the entire album flows perfectly. Designing the Enemy and Industrial Discipline are my favs. The Industrialist sounds pretty damn good but I don't think it is as good as Mechanize. Disassemble is terrible and the last two tracks are pointless. Definitely can't wait to get the album though.

Dino parodies his own style on Mechanize and The Industrialist, it is funny after listening to Christian Olde Wolbers do it on Transgression and Archetype to have Dino do it. I mean, what kind of riff is the main one of the title song ?
ONE NOTE !?! It is so dull. The rhythm is cool but damn ONE NOTE !!!

parodying is not ripping off. The problem does not lie in the theft but in the failure to emulate or reproduce. I simply think Dino's guitar work is better on Dema or Obsolete. Imagine Demanufacture's riff done using a single note. Aoutch, not so classic anymore.
By the way, do you not think Difference Engine main riff si very similar to the one of high-tech hate ? even though here it's not really a problem as both are quite cool.
