Bad Religion To Headline WT2K7

2006-11-28 by Jom | 9 Comments
It's not even winter yet in the Northern Hemisphere, and Bad Religion has already made plans for spending their summer: the band will headline the Warped Tour in 2007, according to the tour's official website. However, no other bands have been announced at press time.

Reports indicate that Bad Religion will likely use the tour to showcase its follow-up to 2004's The Empire Strikes First. While the act's rumored to be working sporadically on the album, no details about its release or progress have been given, although it was previously reported that the yet-to-be-titled album will be released in mid-to-late 2007.

It's gonna be a bitch dragging my friends to Warped Tour (fuckin metalheads), but if Bad Religion is there you best believe I will one way or another.

The only problem is headlining Warped Tour doesn't really matter. Like you don't play for longer all it really does is guarentee you a later slot (not neccessarily the latest though) unless they changed stuff they will still be rotating the schedule/times.

well what it does mean is that they are one of the bigger bands on the bill, meaning no Hawthorne Heights and other assorted major label tripe for the most part. I hope Strung Out gets on the bill, especially with their new album coming out.
