I'm actually really excited for this. all pretentious douchebaggery aside, I really like ATRU and I'm stoked to see what the hell they have been doing these past 7 years (besides drugs). It's probably going to be great tbh, and split Sputnik into the "Love CTTS" crowd and the "Hate CTTS" crowd all over again.

Fucking stoked. Hoping this lives up to expectations. Considering how long they've spent on it, it bloody well should.

Excited. ATRU had some really great moments and was an overall very strong release in my opinion. I hope that this is able to at least make it feel worth the wait.

I mean, yeah, it's a bit wordy and...over-descriptive, but it's not like they're..."this album is gonna be unlike anything you've ever heard before and the best thing ever" and stuff. They're just very...over-descriptively describing their writing process for this album. They're just stating what they're trying to do. And I'll bet you anything the album's gonna do it pretty damn well. So FUCKING excited for this.

It's pretentious because it's obvious whoever said it (Drew?) worded everything like that to try to sound epic. When he/she says "we are eager to provide our listeners with the opportunity to glimpse a portion of this realm, and to immerse themselves in the labyrinth of startling curves and staggering depths that we've been lost within for so long.", he/she literally means, "We're excited for you to hear this."

They're trying to make the announcement of their album sound like the most grandiose statement to ever be released. And granted, it's huge news for a lot of people (ATRU was my favorite album about a year ago so im one of them), but they should just let the album do the talking on its own.
