These guys still exist.

Surprise. Surprise. The song rules. They seem to be returning to their heavy roots. I'm sensing the biggest surprise of the year.
|
| |
thought they broke up huh
|
| |
I hate to say it but this is pretty good.
|
| |
guess the singer got the "mellow" outta his system with his country album
|
| |
The question is: Is it the only track on the new album that rocks?
|
| |
song was pretty good kinda surprised
|
| |
I don't want a repeat of their last album. :/
|
| |
is it actually good furreal
|
| |
no greg84! don't jinx it!
|
| |
is it actually good furreal
fo reels mang
|
| |
holy shit first good Staind song in like 8 years
|
| |
I hate lyric videos. Especially this one since they elongated the consonants after every other fucking lyric.
Meh song. Wasn't that bad.
|
| |
I did some research and it appears the band's stepping back into darkness with this new cd. Hell yeah.
|
| |
i feel dirty for liking this
|
| |
thank you greg84

Their returning back to their heavier roots found on Dysfunction and Tormented which I'm glad considering I actually enjoyed those albums.
|
| |
Interesting
|
| |
So far I listened to all 3 tracks they released and they really dug back into their roots. Sweet!
|
| |
hahaha staind
|
| |
Their earlier, heavier stuff is so good. Used to be one of my favorite bands back in the day.
|
| |
I used to love this band.
|
| |
sounds like a rehash of their nu metal days
songs are neither good nor bad

interesting, considering the more commercial turn they've taken. too bad i've outgrown their music...
nevertheless they managed to keep the music fresh and interesting enough, i'll give the album a listen. But now that bands like Tool, Radiohead and Opeth occupy my top spots, they won't wow me as much as before.
|
| |
Used to love me some staind when i was 13
|
| |
Positive feedback for Staind... here?....... in Sputnik?....... the end is definitely near.
|
| |
Break The Cycle is still really good in my opinion..
|
| |
I definitely prefer the later albums to Staind's earlier ones, Break the Cycle and beyond.
There's another song or two on YouTube from both from the upcoming album and from the Transformers soundtrack, called 'The Bottom' and 'Eyes Wide Open'... they're about as heavy as this one. Looks like that's the direction this album is headed.
|
| |
Video is terrible, song is pretty good...doesn't really sound like Aaron Lewis...
Eyes Wide Open is even better/
|
| |
Pree good.
|
| |
I guess you could say, "It's been awhile"
Thank you, I'll be here all night.
|
| |
Eyes Wide Open is even better

"staind and seether. no difference to be found."
they do kinda sound like seether in this, not usually but in this song they do
|
| |
Band usually bores me, but this was surprisingly decent.
|
| |
Relevance questioned
|
| |
Eyes Wide Open sounds like a song RED would make.
|
| |
Staind nu metal days were good , but stuff like the illusion of progress is poor
|
| |
The song is okay. I really like the solo though
|
| |
Not bad, I like to jam these guys on occasion.
|
| |
dude these guys are terrible
|
| |
I remember when these guys were getting blown off the stage by Itchy Fish back in like 94 in Southern Mass. I don't think I've heard a single good thing from them outside of their pre-label, local sale only release. Which wasn't even that great.
|
| |
Aaron Lewis tries to hard to imitate Layne Stanley adn he fails ,some staind some are enjoyable but ohers are annoying .
|
| |
i think this is the first time anything they have done has caught my attention since 14 shades of grey. that was a loooooong time ago.
