| |

| |
listening
| |
Heavy Rocks is entertaining but Attention Please is astonishing. I haven't heard anything this good in a while.
| |
Heavy Rocks was really good, I did feel cheated at the two remixed tracks from New Album though. Attention Please is awesome right now. I read a review earlier that praised Attention Please more than Heavy Rocks. I might end up liking it more.
| |
Attention Please was great.
| |
Gawd I'm lovin it!
| |
Fuck yes. Made my day.
| |
Man, Missing Pieces is fucking awesome.
| |
Haven't heard anything from this band. Would either of these albums be a good starting point?
| |
Nah. I'd get Feedbacker, Akuma no Uta, and Pink pronto, though.
| |
sweet
ive never listened to a full Boris album, been meaning to listen to Pink forever
| |
Do it, bro.
| |
i will when i get home
| |
gave both a 3.5 after a first listen
so much better than New Album
| |
Cannot wait for the new albums.
I'll be spending the night at my record store on May 23rd.
| |
Aaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnddddd go.
| |
Will listen in a moment, all their albums I have by them are incredible so I have high hopes for these!
| |
Released on my birthday. Sweet!
| |
It's my birthday too! ^^
| |
Attention Please wasn't as good as I was expecting, especially after seeing practically everyone say it it's better than Heavy Rocks. This is most definitely not the case.
| |
I agree. But still a damn fine album.
| |
This is how I would rank their four releases this year:
Heavy Rocks (2011) - 3.5
Klatter - 3.5
Attention Please - 3
New Album - 3
| |
HOLY CRAP
| |
Switch new album and Klatter and Heavy Rocks....and I will agree with ya haha.
| |
Attention Please 3.5
Heavy Rocks 3.5
New Album 2.5
Klatter 2.5
here
| |
Klatter is my favorite of all of them so far.
| |
Heavy Rocks and Klatter are pretty close for me. I think Missing Pieces just puts HR2 over the top.
| |
..I guess.
I wonder how many more albums they are going to release this year?
| |
YEAR OF BORIS
| |
Im really digging Heavy Rocks, cant wait to buy it
| |
I want to see another Boris/Torche split. Or even a Boris/Keelhaul split.
| |
fucking awesome
and bon iver too god dammnnnnn today is so good
| |
Just got Akuma No Uta for free today.
| |
new album is better than both of these js
| |
don't shit on my borisparade
| |
Some of you guys are hard to please. I wouldn't even listen to an album I rated a 3. The lowest I give albums I like is a 3.5.
| |
hey, attention please is rather good :]

3 means good, why wouldn't you listen to a good album? if anyone is hard to please here, it's you.
| |
Tonight is a good night.
| |
I like Men.
| |
me too :]
| |
@DarkNoctus When I read reviews for albums that are rated a 3, they seem kinda boring. It's like saying, well it didn't wow me, but it didn't suck either. It's on the middle of the see saw. I don't think I'm hard to please at all. I'm not very harsh when it comes rating music.
| |
I mean, I wouldn't NOT listen to a good album. I'm just saying my idea of good is more of a 3.5, and not a 3.
| |
Said that wrong. More like I see a 3 as average.
| |
2.5 is average
2.5 doesn't even really mean bad
i hate this site
| |
He's fucking up a very simple concept and system.

NPR is so hip.
| |
so cool you art

| |
I prefer New Album over Attention Please. I think. Maybe not. I love "Aileron"
| |
HR2 owns both.
| |
New Album is better than both
| |
I think both albums could have been better. AP relies too much on the beauty of Wata's vocals and the music suffers and a lot of the songs never really go anywhere. If i want to listen to crooning vocals with distant ambient music ill listen to sigur ros, or deftones, they both do it better. HR2 was okay but it shouldn't have been called heavy rocks it's predecessor is way better. Missing pieces and Alieron save the album, but its too slow, predictable, straightforward, and not really that heavy
Attention Please : 3/5
Heavy Rocks 2 : 3.5/5
