Heavy Rocks is entertaining but Attention Please is astonishing. I haven't heard anything this good in a while.

Heavy Rocks was really good, I did feel cheated at the two remixed tracks from New Album though. Attention Please is awesome right now. I read a review earlier that praised Attention Please more than Heavy Rocks. I might end up liking it more.

Attention Please wasn't as good as I was expecting, especially after seeing practically everyone say it it's better than Heavy Rocks. This is most definitely not the case.

This is how I would rank their four releases this year:

Heavy Rocks (2011) - 3.5
Klatter - 3.5
Attention Please - 3
New Album - 3

Some of you guys are hard to please. I wouldn't even listen to an album I rated a 3. The lowest I give albums I like is a 3.5.

@DarkNoctus When I read reviews for albums that are rated a 3, they seem kinda boring. It's like saying, well it didn't wow me, but it didn't suck either. It's on the middle of the see saw. I don't think I'm hard to please at all. I'm not very harsh when it comes rating music.

I mean, I wouldn't NOT listen to a good album. I'm just saying my idea of good is more of a 3.5, and not a 3.

I think both albums could have been better. AP relies too much on the beauty of Wata's vocals and the music suffers and a lot of the songs never really go anywhere. If i want to listen to crooning vocals with distant ambient music ill listen to sigur ros, or deftones, they both do it better. HR2 was okay but it shouldn't have been called heavy rocks it's predecessor is way better. Missing pieces and Alieron save the album, but its too slow, predictable, straightforward, and not really that heavy
Attention Please : 3/5
Heavy Rocks 2 : 3.5/5
