NOOO what happened to the mythology and power metalness. You can already tell this record is going to be their darkest and most aggressive following in the footsteps of Paradise Lost.

At least they pull off the "heavy" sound better than Dream Theater.

Predicting it as one of my albums of the year, especially due to how long it's taken them to get this thing written and recorded.

Paradise lost was great.

My secret hope about them is the band to be further influenced from extreme metal.

Really liked the vibe they had going on Paradise Lost. Not too big on the cover art, but we'll just hear and see.

Maybe their first album but The Divine Wings of Tragedy is their best.

I have no doubt that it will be awesome. In an interview with one of the members (possibly the bassist, I dunno) he said that they did the album that they wanted to do and Nuclear Blast loved it.

I'm ambivalent about the subject matter, though. A criticism of the contemporary "wired" age and lifestyle with a science-fiction theme. Ancient Greece is undeniably badass, this sounds like it might suck. But the music sure as hell won't. In my opinion every subsequent album has had better music.
