Bassist Ali Dean leaves Architects

2011-02-10 by InFiction | 31 Comments
Ali Dean, longtime bass player for UK metalcore band Architects, has announced his departure from the band after 5 years.

Dean stated that his resignation was due to his desire to be with his family as they recently suffered a huge loss.

A statement from both Ali and the remaining members can be seen on Facebook.

He left because they suck now [2], the big loss is the quality of their music actually.

Architects actually has parts in some songs where their are two guitar leads and the chugs or JUNZ are played by the bass player. So they will miss some... but it isnt like he wont easily be replaced though.

Bullshit. They improved massively from Nightmares with Ruin and Hollow Crown.

This is disappointing.

If they continued writing music in the vein of Nightmares, they wouldn't be touring with such big names and they probably would've disbanded long ago seeing as nobody's interested in Dillinger Escape plan rip-off music. As much I like Nightmares and Ruin, let us be real here, Hollow Crown is hands down, their best album.

Might have something to do with the inaudible bass on their latest release. Loved everything before it.

Hollow Crown is overrated as fuck. It's got some great songs on there but it isn't shit compared to Ruin and especially Nightmares.

JESUS ASSRAPING CHRIST, who cares which album is better? Personally, I liked Hollow Crown only, because it finally had some proper sound quality and didn't desperately try to sound overly technical with their guitar play. 100000 notes, but all meh.

Doesn't mean the albums previously sucked, but I frankly was sick of that type of songs. LALWESOTECH, for me gets boring really fast.

and can't we just get along and agree that 'The Here And Now' sucks and that's it?
