liking obviously shitty, juvenile, and generic pop-punk bands in addition to more serious post-rock and indie bands does not make one's tastes more diverse or interesting. it does not make you seem more down-to-earth or "real" that you are able to appreciate mainstream garbage on top of the more "artistic" music you listen to. it's not even a guilty pleasure

This was inevitable, I'm not a huge fan but I usually check out their albums they have a few catchy songs.

I guess they're a good compliment to the more serious bands I listen to, it makes my music taste more diverse and I don't mind saying I like paramore because I'm just one of those down-to-earth kind of guys.

I'm actually very upset about this, being a paramore fan. I thought they're a great band and it's defiantly a huge loss the josh and zac are leaving, since zac was actually, in my opinion, a great drummer, and josh was an important asset in the song writing department since he mostly co-wrote the bulk of the songs with hayley.
I'm not going to say paramore are original and the 'best band in the world', they're not. However they are my favorite band and i'll continue to support them and i wish josh and zac the best of luck with whatever they do.

They're an enjoyable band, can't really say i'm surprised by the news. Good on record but nothing really special on stage.

Saw them on Jingle Ball @ MSG. Kind of...underwhelming? The best part was the random chick Williams brought on stage to sing the end of Misery Business, and she was such a mess. Williams asks her what her name is and she's like, "WHAT" She sounded like she was about to cry for her remaining time on stage.
