Oh dear God, they went deathcore.
| |
Some of the heavy parts sounded a bit generic, but still excited for this.
| |
yeah that was so so so bad.
band can foad
| |
open strings
| |
A change from their past work, couldn't decide how I felt about that until around 1:36 and then it was officially "eh" for the rest of the video.
| |
it'll be better than midheaven regardless.
and i did enjoy most of that.
| |
this might actually be good...nocturne was decent and midheaven was utter shit, so i wasn't expecting much from this, but it could turn out alright. sounds a lot like august burns red but with clean vocal choruses.
| |
i'm not really hearing the august burns red comparison. it sounds great though, hopefully we'll just be able to forget that Midheaven happened
| |
open strings
br00tal riffs d00d
| |
I think this will finally help all of us forget Midhaven especially since Nathan Ells won't be able to fill this album with an immense amount of douche.
I actually thought it sounded a little more deathcore-ish, but i think they were just trying to show how heave they can be. This should be good.
| |
woah, that was heavy. i have high hopes for this since a.j. is back in the band.
| |
sounds kind of like btbam, which is a both a good and bad thing...travis is a pretty vocalist though. i'm definitely gonna check out the album. i can already tell it's gonna be way better than midheaven haha
| |
Didn't care for the clean vocals that much. The rest was enjoyable, especially the riffage.
| |
sounds like BTBAM with really boring drum beats.
| |
PULL ME FROM THE GALLOWS
| |
totally agree with you, andcas. i never would have even guessed that it was the same guy. he's doing pretty well for himself now haha
| |
whoooooaaa
| |
Good shit. A song off the album is being released Tuesday i think
| |
I dunno, if this was totally new band releasing their debut I'd be more impressed.
| |
I don't like the heavier parts. This band is at their best when they choose to be melodic. Stoked for this regardless.
| |
They prolly wanted to showcase their more brutal stuff on the teaser to show a more drastic change from Midheaven
| |
I'm confused. It went from a really good acoustic piece to a dime a dozen metal/death breakdown thing, then to other shit in between. I'm interested now knowing they have a competent singer, so we'll see.
| |
It's not the same song if that's what youre saying...
| |
No, I realize that.
| |
Isn't it jack of all trades?
| |
It is.
Midheaven sucked royal anus.
| |
Yeah.
| |
Midheaven's talky parts made me laugh tho
| |
midheaven was bad but I didn't find it TERRIBLE. I'm excited for this though even though it isn't that unique-sounding.
| |
sounds like shit
| |
Totally thought they broke up.
| |
That vocal improvement is nothing short of amazing o.O
Sounds very BtBaM-ish; definitely that death influence there. Much more metalcore-ish too. I'm reserving judgment until some full songs come out.
Much better than Midheaven though. Glad A.J.'s back. Travis is nicer to hear over Nathan, too.
| |
Going to be an incredible album! Vocals are awesome.
| |
Protest that legacy, dude.
| |
pertty excited for this
| |
sounds a lot more deathcore than before. Better vocals, dunno what I feel about it but I'm still looking forward to another sweepfest.
| |
''whether people dig this or not its amazing how much progression in vocals travis has obtained since his screaming in fftl which sucked.''
Yea like months ago when i found out Travis was the new vox's i just gave up on this band COMPLETELY. Glad that he has gotten soo much better like damn. I am really looking forward to this cd now. It does sound very btbam-is with a side of a little deathcore but you can still hear the Nocturne sound still which is a good thing.
Also Midheaven did not sucks as like a album, just as a follow-up album from Nocturne it sucked.
| |
the drums sounds punchy as fuck!! will be interesting to see how well they contrast their soft/heavy bits
| |
sounds like born of osiris but way better
| |
so... still shitty?
| |
NOTHING is better than Born of Osiris
| |
oh bloc
| |
sounds pretty awesome tbh, didn't love the album i have
and born of osiris is good, last album showed lots of potential, upcoming one will be great.
| |
2011 will be filled with treasures
| |
Oh dear God, they went deathcore.
you are pretty dumb js
| |
i thought this was really good. im timidly excited.
| |
Born of Osiris new one sounds miles better.
| |
Am I the only one who thought mindheaven was pretty fkin good ?
| |
midheaven had its moments but it wasn't really that great.
| |
DEAD WORLD AT SUNRISE... A DEAD WOOORLD AT SUNRIIISE
| |
Midheaven is one of the worst albums ever. This sounds amazing.
| |
Am I the only one who thought mindheaven was pretty fkin good ?
Yes.
[EDIT]
Seriously. You really are the only one. Midheaven was the most pretentious piece of shit since anything Protest the Hero has
released. And it didn't have any redeeming qualities like some PTH material has.
i'm not really hearing the august burns red comparison. it sounds great though, hopefully we'll just be able to forget
that Midheaven happened
That's cause it sounds nothing like August Burns Red. The vocalist for ABR is one step away from being a puker like that
douche from Unearth.
| |
Yeah that was pretty bad. That Music man bongo 6 looked pretty out of place.
| |
vocalist is miles better than their last but song is lukewarm on the nuclear scale
| |
Jake Luhrs is a phenomenal vocalist. what you talking about [2]
| |
Yeah that vocalist is SO much better than that last one.. so so so much
| |
Shit and generic.
| |
