I love Waking The Fallen and City of Evil. Although I am not a fan of the self-titled I find those to CD's to be excellent and don't understand why people hate the band so vehemently. Sure, the fans are annoying, but overall they've been a pretty good band.

I always hold out hope that a band's released songs are just some sort of sick joke. But they're not.

I personally love the title track. At least the intro anyways. It was the first song i heard and i was like dam, maybe this will be a good album. But honestly it is absolutely nothing like the rest of the songs and neither is Buried Alive, which is just terrible imo.

My guess is that they are trying to keep the fact that they are screaming again under raps. The first track that they scream on is Dangerline and it COMPLETELY catches you off guard when the screams come in and take over. Also, all the best songs are the ones that have screaming.

Its almost like they are trying to trick everyone into thinking this album will suck. Go figure.

there they are, but lemme warn you.. barnes and noble did a shitty job arranging them. they did like the intros for all the songs instead of the choruses, which is what normal song sites would do. but whatever, fiction is creepy as hell

waking the fallen is easily their best album.
city of evil was also really good, and it would've been a lot better if his vocals wouldn't have been so nasaly and raspy.

s/t was okay, it just didn't live up to their potential. it was more of a pop album than a rock album.

although afterlife, critical acclaim, and alpoh were all really good imo.

I thought City of Evil sucked majorly. Aterlife and Dear God (I know...) are the only songs I listen to anymore from s/t.

the wicked end, burn it down, and strength of the world were the best.

everything they've released is already better than s/t, and there is supposed to be a fair amount of screaming on this, so...

City of Evil was their peak imo but even that is packed with filler. They keep making songs that are way too long.
