yes, having lower and lower expectations for this album
|
| |
ugh this is soooo dissapointing
|
| |
Yeah, I was kinda glad to hear they were gettin back together but not so much after hearin these first two tracks.

I like the music on all of the songs so far. I think the disappointing factor of the album is actually Scott Weiland. He sounds as into it, some of his vocals just sound half-assed. I want to listen to it more, but we will see. Musicianship wise from the other guys, it sounds great. Has kind of the Tiny music vibe, but the heart isn't there for Scott anymore it seems.

it was never there and i've always liked that

The music has been pretty good, but the choruses of these songs are either horribly generic or just plain bad
|
| |
I agree with Ved, lyrics have been a bit corny.
|
| |
meh, not bad

Sounds pretty good... feels like a song that needs some time to grow on you.

Huckleberry Crumble: At 1:55 they hit a less disparate sound with more subtlety to it. It's by far the best part yet why they only touch on it for about 30 secs annoys the fuck out of me. But overall I guess I like this one.
Bagman: Again! At 1:24 it all comes together but as with Huckleberry it disappears just as quick.
Hickory Dichotomy: Don't like it. Not sure it could ever grow on me either.

ehhh...I don't think I'll get this

I love the band, and all of their albums.
Sad this might be the first time i'm not excited about their new album.
I think it'll grow on me over time, perhaps
