Head Not Back In Korn

2006-09-16 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 6 Comments
Korn frontman Jonathon Davis has dismissed speculation that departed guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch had arranged to rejoin the band.

"It's bullshit," Davis told administrators of Korn's official website. "Not real. False, incorrect, deceitful, not real.

"Head is NOT coming back to Korn. Repeat, Head is not back in Korn."

Speculation began on Thursday when a message was left, apparently by Welch, on his Head To Christ website announcing his return to the fold. The message read:

"I've been speaking with Jon and Munk about us and the split," the apparently false statement read. "And finally I can say that I'm taking the right side of the stage again for our next Korn tour and album.

"I'm so excited! I will post more later. Peace all."

Welch has so far been unavailable for comment.
