AILD needs more solos...they're often great when they do them. Same with Unearth

Yeah, they're a consistent band if nothing else. Not really innovative, ground-breaking or even versatile.. but consistent. I liked them a LOT more when I was 18.

Pretty decent song, AILD has always been a guilty pleasure of mine because they were my very first exposure to metalcore

An Ocean Between us is maybe the best transitional metalcore album done so far. Most of the bands that are trying to leave that stage are failing miserably.

Loved Shadows Are Security. The rest of their stuff hasn't really done too much for me though unfortunately. This continued the trend.

Honestly not that bad of a song, so true though that ABR is now doing what AILD does but better.

Song is pretty sweet, not as good as the material from their previous albums but still pretty solid.

It's alright. Probably not the best on the album, since that seems to be what bands like to release first.

I think this song is AWESOME so far, can't wait for the rest of the album.

Vocals seemed to be worse (more hardcoreish, which isn't good) from what I remember them being 3-4 years ago. Will wait for a full song to give a full opinion, but I didn't like what I heard so far (cant stand them now as it stands, but Im always open to new material).

Tim's getting better with vocal range it sounds like. will check this out because of nostalgia.

Lol at most of this. AILD are a good bad. ABR is a good bad- both are good for different reasons. Clip sounds promising. AOBU was a step in the right direction away for them.
