You know, for some UNEXPLAINABLE reason, the title of this news story doesn't quite have the same effect as "New Paramore Video."

The music wasn't that bad, but her singing and lyrics were just horrible.

Musical breakthrough of the decade

break it down like this

the actual bare bones track has potential, the melody is nice, catchy yet slightly intricate,however, Avril's vocal is horrible, she shouts the loud parts, it seems like her attempt to cash in on the paramore kind of sound but it fails because love or hate paramore at the heart of their sound you find Hayley Williams vocal ability which has more grain and natural authenticity in her voice than Avril's who seems to lack any great vocal range. Another key thing to paramore is the guitar work. while not revolutionary, the little arpeggios help to flesh out the sound and offer the listener something else to hear, this tracks mainly chord bashed piano and U2 esq drum thump just doesn't cut it, but kudos for Burton Identifying his target market. Lavigne as a name will get tweens buying records, but seriously, she needs to mature or quit making music if she wants any kind of credibility, just because she still looks 14 doesnt mean she can act perennially 14....

terrible terrible TERRIBLE!!! even though Tim Burton is probably not responsible for this atrocity he's still gone waaaaaaaaaaaay down in my estimation for having this as a soundtrack to his film!!!
