ah man, this is not good
| |
well it was fun
| |
sahara didnt bother me, still looking forward to the album
| |
I never really liked Slash at all.Hes probably the most overrated guitar player.
| |
eww........
| |
Slash did some pretty ace work with Guns... and now he's trying to deny the fact he is not of any musical importance anymore.
| |
Sick and wrong!
Fergie slightly gained respect for wanting to be invlolved with a good song for once..... but Slash has lost respect for allowing her.
| |
Nagrarok took the words out of my mouth
| |
All of these classic bands are soiling their legacy's with stupid moves like this.
| |
Maybe chad kroeger can be the new singer for Aerosmith.
| |
Why the hell would Slash do this? He' way better than that. FERGIE? DirecTV's spokeswoman? Yikes...
| |
Haha no friggin way. This must be a joke.
| |
Obviously Slash wants to "have his way" with fergie. Jeez people it's not rocket science :P
| |
Because he's releasing an album?
No, because he releases an album with no musical relevance.
| |
Yeah this is really bad....
| |
I could care less for Fergie, she sucks
On the other hand however, due to a certain vocalist's inclusion... I'm very looking forward to Slash's solo album, which is hopefully gonna rule face
| |
"No, because he releases an album with no musical relevance."
I'm pretty sure the album will be alright. It has flea, Alice Cooper and Iggy pop among others.
| |
Yeah i'm looking forward to the album and the guest stars on it that are actually great musicians. Not looking forward to anything Fergie is contributing to it though.
| |
yeah, fergie is a massive pain in the ass.
| |
BAH
| |
Fergie does a nice job sounding like Axl
| |
It wasn't as terrible as it sounds on paper, but It's the scary fact that he did it that worries me
| |
@CreamCrazy yeah im fiending for a new m. shadows joint too...
| |
shit sounds stupid, not even gonna bother checkin it out
| |
I puked in my mouth just reading the headline.
| |
AAAHHHAHAAAHAHAA
| |
Eww...
| |
Is it really called Slash And Friends?
...wow...
| |
haha ya slash and friends is a gay name but im definitely gonna grab this whenever it comes out
| |
I wish fergie would just go away.
| |
slash's friends suck too
| |
how the hell do you say any music has "musical relevance"
wait what IS musical relevance.
| |
^it matters. E.g. alesana has no musical relevance. so what would?
| |
I'm pretty sure the album will be alright. It has flea, Alice Cooper and Iggy pop among others.
Look up Annihilator's "Metal"
| |
Would have been much better without Cypress Hill sucking so badly in the verses...and the intro "oohh yeaah my main man Slash in the house!" I thought Cypress Hill were supposed to be good?
| |
2012 has come early it seems
| |
wut
| |
RAPE!
| |
what do you mean "it matters"
who decides what music matters and what doesnt
| |
somewhat impressive on Fergies part, pretty damn lackluster on Slash's and Cypress Hills though, didn't sound like they were putting much into it...though I dunno if Cypress Hill should have been involved in this particular collaboration in the first place
| |
2012 has come early it seems
sorry, but that was kinda funny
| |
2012 looks so shit. roland emmerich loves doing those scenes where theres this huuuuge cataclysmic scene and theres a screeching of metal or something. then everythings silent. then suddenly its LOUD. fucking stupid.
also fergie is cancer
| |
oh why ?
| |
paradise city - hilarious. best part - I don't know how old-school gnr diehards will react to this :P
| |
go piss your pants again fergie
stay out of classics
| |
Sahara was mind numbingly boring and Paradise City was just bad. What's worse, Fergie was actually the best part of Paradise City and my friends, that is no fun at all. The Cypress Hill's parts were just depressing tbh
| |
Am I the only one who is having his mind blown by the combination?
Slash is a has-been, Fergie is a never-was, but Koshi Inaba is actually pretty awesome. Granted, I'm probably the only American on this site who knows of or likes B'z, but still!
| |
Agreed with Metalstyles. Fergie happened to be a redeeming factor in the Paradise City cover. Cypress Hill's rapping was pretty terrible.
| |
Fergie does a nice job sounding like Axl
^^ this, Cypress Hill were terrible and Slash just sounds bored. I actually like Fergie's voice for this song, she has that Pink "rock chic" sound, suits her better than that Black Eyed Peas shit...
| |
wat
| |
fergalicious disaster
| |
Slash and friends. Really? You couldn't put a little more thought into it? Oh well, i'm not getting it anyway.
| |

Just because you know him doesn't make the song suck any less...it's extremely generic. And I do listen to a bit of Japanese music (The Pillows, Maximum The Hormone, etc.) thanks to my friends...but this song still sucks, and as much as I love Slash his riffs just sound like an uninspired bored version of his GnR material.
| |
I heard Myles Kennedy is making a vocal appearance on here. He could pull it off easily.
| |
(insert pointless comment here)
| |

I didn't say the song was good. I'm just stunned that someone appeared on the EP that wasn't either untalented or washed up.
