 I think I might be the only one on the site who really isn't feeling the new Big Boi. I just don't think a lot of the collaborations he attempts work well at all, I felt like the styles didn't mesh. Plus, for a solo album, Big Boi himself doesn't really seem like the center of attention on these tracks as much as those he's collaborating with do.

 Only 18, and that's the result of around 6 - 7 new albums a day for the past 5 years. Joined this year, but I started rating albums and practicing writing reviews back when I was 14 and just kept track of it all.

Talk about solid, i only manage to fit bout 3 in a day and definitely cant keep track of them all

 Yeah, I get what you're saying man. I just grew this obsession with music discovery for a while. I still have it, but I've just listened to so much that I've slowed down quite a lot. Nowadays I mostly just listen to some favorites of mine and the new releases that come out weekly.

 How can one listen to (and accurately rate) 6-7 albums in a day? Also, don't you ever go back to listen to your favourites?! LOL.

 I admit, it really wasn't a good method. I tend to form some big opinions after only a short time with an album though, so I feel pretty good about the ratings I've given. And yeah, I go back to the albums that I consider my favs, it's usually only a few favorites tough that I'll be really hooked on for a time and then I'll aquire all new favorites, you know how it is.

 yeah that's mental. I usually only get through 1 or 2 new albums a week. It takes ages for me to form an opinion and it's rare i enjoy an album on the first one or two listens, especially with my favourites which are usually growers. Plus i have a really short attention span and usually switch back onto something i know i like after 4 songs. Cos most music i try out i don't like

 their debut wasn't bad but drunk love was horrible. So I'm assuming this is much better? I'll definitely check your review out.

 Yeah their debut was decent and their most recent was shit
this is so far equally as bad, but I'm already three songs invested into this garbage
summary: they ditched the pop punk and are full pop/pop rock at this point. Best way to summarize this: there's a kitschy as fuck harmonica solo in the title track

 I always liked the song Holiday on the debut. Oh well doesn't surprise me that the new one sucks

 Honestly, they were never that pop punky ever at all.

I'll admit that Boys Like Girls had some good songs on that one or at least good parts. Other than The Great Escape, not really any of their songs are really worth listening the whole way through. Back Against the Wall is cool mostly, and Medication has a really cool sampled intro, but that's pretty much it.

Don't tell andcas though!

 Yeah cyg they weren't really pop punky, more like AAR-style pop rock but I'm staying like any trace of pop punk (more in the vein of yellow card) is gone. Tbh its been so long since I even heard the début that I can't comment. The great escape was good and even their sappy cliché songs a la hero/heroine weren't bad compared to the vomit that is, like, two is better than one
