Elvenking is a big one for power metal fans this week.
And Runemagick is a big one for death/doom fans. Looking forward to it!

That Fires in the Distance album will be beautiful.

Demon of the Fall
04.27.23
The National (obligation / curiosity... not expecting much)
Jesse Ware (enjoyed her last effort)
I wonder what The Orb sounds like in 2023

Hmm, not an exciting week all-in-all, at least not based on the above offerings

Strangely think I am most excited to hear the new Jungstötter.

Loads out this week, absolutely packed, but a lot could end up middling...The National, Josh Ritter, JFDR, The Orb, Indigo De Souza, Great Lake Swimmers, Country Westerns and Matt Maltese. All those could end up a 3 rating tbh, hopefully a few come good.

Project

Inigo is probably going to be the st of the bunch

Last decent release week for a while, I will be spreading these out over the course of the dry spell that May is looking to be.

A new King Yosef album out tomorrow as well. One for the metalcore fans; he guested on the last Static Dress record.

Kind of a lit week. I don’t know anything about that Belgrado but it is speaking to me.

Braids has been on a dark path in recent years but I will still check

Obvs Jessie Ware and JFDR will be spun

List needs new Yune Pinku EP

Don't sleep on the Overgrow EP, it's fantastic.

The new Graveworm album is pretty good. I'm going to review it, but I'm a little behind. Should appeal to fans of Cradle and Dimmu except these guys aren't as bombastic.

Beach House also had a new EP out. Songs that didn't fit on Once Twice Melody.

Sabrutin
04.27.23
well that Belgrado artwork + genres combo begs to be checked out

also lmao at that artwork for Crown the Empire, makes them look like death metal

Squiggly
04.27.23
Big week for me: The National, Jessie Ware, JFDR, might check Indigo & Overgrow as well.

Sowing
04.27.23
The National and Josh Ritter for me. I feel like the latter has potential to be pretty great, but I need to hear more than just the singles.

JohnnyoftheWell

New Yune Pinku EP [123]

Tentatively hyped for new Indigo de Souza and Jessie Ware, expecting a giant crock o shite from the National and can confirm that the new Beach House is terrible

TheNotrap

Artificial Brain, Afterbirth death squad should take a peek at Lunar Chamber's debut EP. Runemagick is must-listen this week for me.
