Background:
Sludge/progressive staples Mastodon are returning this Friday with their 7th LP, the follow-up to 2014’s Once More ‘Round The Sun. The record was again produced by Brendan O’Brien, whose work with the band dates back to their groundbreaking 2009 release Crack The Skye. According to drummer Brann Dailor, Emperor of Sand‘s themes revolve around one’s mortality — something that was inspired by them witnessing multiple family members and close friends undergo cancer diagnoses in recent years. Troubled Horse album rocks, have yet to jam Mastodon, have to check out that Saturn album, there's an album stream for the Warbringer album (dunno if it's still active though - http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/warbringer-entire-woe-to-the-vanquished-album-available-for-streaming/),
Nightrage album should be good too.

Will check for nostalgic reasons I guess, BC was so much fun back then.
Bit afraid to get on the Jamiroquai release, my hopes are very low for this one considering the pre-released tracks...
