As often as I can I update my list of weekly releases that I use to create these news pieces, but it has been a while. That's probably why some releases are missing. I'll hopefully have an opportunity to go through new announcements and update my "database" tomorrow.
"wow Temper Trap are still going had no idea
hope the new Band of Horses is better than their last one, liked the first single"
Temper Trap's latest sounded pretty good believe it or not, from what I've heard. There's still no Sweet Disposition or anything, but seems like a well put together indie-rock album.
"Man, you weren't kidding about Flamingods, Sowing. Album is delicious."
Yeah, 2016 has been the year of masterpieces. I think I already have something like 10 albums that I rated 4+, and the year is only halfway over. The new Flamingods has a chance to join that company when I have time to devote an attentive full listen to it.
