I'm going to get flamed for this but I was bored stiff when I saw them tour.

Dude my news article totally got posted!
'Eating the canibals' = most metal song title.

Wow, I have to disagree. I saw them live and it was unbelievable. They're just such an IMPORTANT group of musicians who play killer songs that have stood the test of time for nearly 30 years. I mean, Dio and Iommi sharing a stage?! Metal royalty doesn't get more pure than that. So, totally psyched for this. Hope they tour it.

Its gonna rock. Iommi always brings the meanest riffs around.

I always thought that Bill Ward played with them..or was he just sabbath?
|
| |
Ward got the boot a while back then I think he turned down an inventation for Heaven and Hell
|
| |
^ He performed on the Heaven and Hell album but Appice took over after for Mob Rules and then years later with Dehumanizer. Appice deserves to be in this lineup a bit more because, well he played on more albums with this line-up. I just noticed that Heaven and Hell doesnt have a page on here. Gettin on that now.

After the sad news of Lux Interior dying last week, this week seems determined to pick up my spirits while kicking me in the face with awesome. This Message Edited On 02.12.09

Ward is too old, my Dad's friend saw them in concert and said he had to stop due to fatigue.

This is amazing. I can't wait to see them again.

^^^ They didn't on the last tour, nor did they play any Ozzy sabbath stuff. The quality of the Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules albums means they can still pull together a good setlist of just Dio-era stuff. Although, I would imagine some of the classics will be replaced by new stuff if they tour this!

you can't go wrong with dio
well, yes you can, but you get the idea.

This could become a really great album... or a really cheesy album... or both.
