You're guessing wrong, the new album is their biggest to date, and the Feel Good Drag is a definite.

Their new album wasn't released on Tooth and Nail though was it?

I don't know the rules on these things like.

Evidently I agree with you on their album being their biggest & best to date. Check the text under my post!

My craz for these guys stopped after 'Cities' & I have yet to hear 'New Surrender'.

Can someone inform me if "Feel Good Drag" off 'New Surrender' is the same as "The Feel Good Drag" off 'Never Take Friendship Personally'?

It's the same song, Abdar. The NS version is not wildly different from the NTFP recording but it's re-done.

Narrr. Lost Songs was like a collection of rarities, live performances, daft stuff like that.

Intro is a little different, scream in the bridge is gone and the production is a bit better. End result isn't as good. And you should hear Cities before NS.
i thought they already released a best of?

They released a B-sides album but no best of before this.

Better band obviously, but yeah. Best of's only make sense when you have much more material.

they've only got like 4 or 5 albums sofar, a best of album seems pretty unnecesary.
Maybe tooth and nail are woried Anberlins star will burn out before they make any more money off of them

If they added a live DVD and/or a "behind the scenes" thing, that would make it worthwhile.

Stupid and unnecessary (especially since they'll only take songs from their T&N albums). I agree with the live DVD idea, though, they completely rule live.

Not necessarily. The label essentially owns the rights to those songs. They can do what they like with them. Look what happened with Deftones when they made that song 'Back to School Mini Maggot', the label re-released White Pony against the bands wishes.

atreyu's greatest hits was the best album ever made. surely, this will be good too. because best ofs are always good. you can't make a bad one. it's impossible

i hate when bands release best of albums after 3-4 ,or even less, releases. just comes off as cheap and money grabbing. especially disheartening since anberlin is one of the few current mainstream alternative bands i actually listen to.

The only best of album that actually helped me was P.O.D.'s, since I loved every song on it & didn't like all their other songs.

this is a certain kind of dumb considering they already had a utterly pointless release with 'Lost Songs'

lol best of Anberlin...totally unecessary
theyd have to include almost all of their songs from each album to create a true "best of" album because their music is just that amazing.
