So what Rob is saying is that his leaving of the band was a relief, because his vocals started to suck, and after he left, the band got to explore new and far more interesting themes and ideas? Because THAT'S what happened to Maiden.

Not that I'm saying Bruce's return was a bad thing, on the contrary, Blaze was fun and all, but not Maiden material. It's the instruments that got to evolve and better themselves even more. Plus more enlightened Maiden fans (that's right, I'm being an elitist :D) accept the Blaze era, while everyone hates the Ripper era.

Poor Ripper. Why did he have to try and replace TWO great vocalists. At least now he isn't replacing anyone special (I honestly cant remember a single Rising Force vocalist), but his deserved stagelight once again is diverted to someone else... start a solo project, man.
