A Slipknot show would be kinda scary

bad though they may be Disturbed and Slipknot were my lifesblood as a young, dumb, full of cum teen. i feel i owe them a few dollars and a day's worth of attention. at the very least i'll leave with a nicely glowing bruise or two and a ahorse voice (i can still recite every word on Vol 3.)

that said, they have 2 of the best bands touring now opening for them - Mastodon (sorry Z boy, masto brings the pain and you know it) and Machine Head. having heard The Blackening i will never forego an opportunity to see Machine Head, and so i am going to this.

is Airbourne worth a listen? they're on this too as i recall.

Disturbed aren't that bad, and Slipknot's latest album wasn't nearly as horrendous as their earlier material.

Still though, not my kind of music at all.

They're playing at a lot of amphitheaters.

Lol at DragonForce now having drinking restrictions, someone finally took action. Now I might go out of my way to see them.

I like how the "Seattle" date is at the White River Amphitheater, a good hour away from Seattle.

if SS is on that tour, ill love it...they're such a good live band. this should be good

when i was big into slipknot i saw them in concert and they put on a great show, and so does disturbed. i might check into this as i wanna at least see slipknot once more before they call it quits.

Probably. At to the person who said wow I love how the Seattle date is an hour plus away from Seattle I feel ya. The "Washington DC" date isn't in DC at all, it's 5 minutes away from my house in Columbia (not to be confused with the District of Columbia, they have no relevance) which is a good 30+ miles North of DC. Silly silly silly. Despite that I'd need a free ticket to go to this because I wouldn't pay that much to see DragonForce and leave before the two headliners.

I don't like Slipknot that much, but Mastadon is pretty solid and both Dragonforce and Disturbed would be fun to see too.

Mastodon is the only band worth watching.

Slipknot really sucked live when I saw them 2 years ago. They sounded like a wall of noise.

hmm. I've only seen Mastodon once and they rocked, and I'm intrigued as to how "good" dragonforce are live...

... but other than that this tour absolutely blows, may go depending on prices.

I must admit, I am slightly intrigued. I liked most of these bands (Mastadon excepted) at one point or another...if it's not completely overpriced, I'd go.
