HYPE!!! Consciousness Part III?! holy shit! first song featuring Einar fuck yeah, ofc obligatory multi-song suite for the ending song
|
| |
Amazing fucking band. Never disappoint. They are in a league of their own when it comes to atmospheric metal. This song is unreal and anticipating an album for the ages.
|
| |
This should be interesting. I like the feat. artist list.
|
| |
Damn... that song didn't do a lot for me... : (
|
| |
I do somewhat agree, I feel like the climax is lacking in this song sadly. I'm still really hype, everything else about this song delivered for me, just that ending that was a bit underwhelming.

let's goooo

Where's mars kid at?
|
| |
New Noise Trail comes out in a fortnight. I expect he'll make an appearance
|
| |
I love this band, but the new song doesn't do much for me. Feels disjointed and lacks any knockout hooks.
|
| |
Agreed
|
| |
swaggg
|
| |
I really like the song. It's time to listen more of their music.
|
| |
'Where's mars kid at?' (2)
a guaranteed summoning ritual if ever I saw one
|
| |
I'll peek this when it drops, relatively low expectations as I've experienced gradual diminishing returns with these guys. Core remains a masterpiece though.
|
| |
This is brutally blissful. Wtf is with the hate?
|
| |
This is great. Haven't heard from these guys in awhile but this sounds pretty fresh for them.
|
| |
Here to see if the first song with Einar Solberg is ruined by oversinging or if it‘s gonna be the best thing ever created.
|
| |
Consciousness Part III is probably gonna be insane considering it's 11 minutes. And seeing Angel Vivaldi in Anabasis Part II is hype af. Song grew on me a little bit but not very convinced yet.

Howdy folks,
1. I'm entirely divorced from music nowadays. I wasn't even aware of this album coming out soon.
2. There are no plans for future reviews. If I get back into writing, it will not be here.
3. Haven't heard this single yet.
4. but it's a 5/5 gg no re
|
| |
Hope you're doing well dude
|
| |
Mars :o
|
| |
I'm doing the best I can, that's what I can say.
I don't want people to expect something and be disappointed, since that's happened often enough. Suffice to say, I have nothing planned for Noise Trail, Persefone, or any upcoming releases. Anything that DOES materialize (unlikely) will not be posted here. My interest in music is purely casual, if at all existent nowadays.
Unless I transition to RYM. I'll probably still rate here on odd occasions to document ratings. That's about it.
|
| |
The song is really cool but it doesn't really feel like they utilized Einar to his fullest potential.
|
| |
Never really got into these guys much, but there's some nice guitar work on this

Man's gotta have a code - there's respect in that.
|
| |
To me, this is their best work since Shin-Ken. I love the intense changes and paces in this song. The backing symphonic keys mend everything together. The vocals and guitar work is extremely powerful. People are weird lol.
