Listening to this band post-hiatus bums me out

Will always love this band, but after Erase Pee I have very low expectations for the new album ESPECIALLY after seeing the tracklist.

Song is honestly a ton of fun, I could fuck with more of this. Lyrics aren’t their best but not nearly as bad as people are making them out to be??? While I think it’s pretty obvious what he’s talking about because we know him, there’s nothing here that’s even explicitly “religious”. I could see interpretations of this that have nothing to do with religion

"This song isn't as good as anything on Cries of the Past."

Cries of the Past and Act of Depression are both awful. This is better than anything off those. It's a standard Spencer era Underoath track. Hate for it in this thread seems a bit excessive.

But hey, at least it feels like it has some actual energy behind it, unlike all of Erase Me.
