kings of social commentary!!
cautiously optimistic for the new album, singles have been pretty sweet (this one's my least fav by far tho)

Everything is stellar. Miss me with the nit picking haters.
This new album will be extraordinary.

You can clearly tell the drum mix is fucked when all sounds fine in the bridge and as soon as you hit the chorus, the only thing audible is the kick and anything else gets drowned in squeaky vocals.

And when he got to the Resolution part, he did a near to perfect Rody Walker impression.

this is actually my favorite of their new stuff sonically because it feels a little bit more empty/less 100% tempo jam shit.

also jesse's high sing scream thing he goes into got me good!

but yes, the lryics are a little basic haha

weirdly into this and havent enjoyed the last 2.. feels good man

@Shiranui Really weird comment, I think everything is still very clear in the chorus, he just isn't doing anything special there lol. Not saying the mix is amazing but your comment makes no sense to me at all

@Beardog It's just a weird decision to me and they are definitely not the first band to have done that. Feels like everything went up in volume, but the drummer. Overall, it's just a too poppy, vocal-centric mix for my own personal taste.
Edit: Man, even the backing vocals and guitars are suffering from it.

I dig the lyrics and the point they're making. My least favorite of the new singles but it's still a great tune and Jesse sounds awesome
I've also been a complete ERRA stan ever since I heard Snowblood and yeah this album is gonna fuckin rule

This one never quite got there for me. Didn’t offer anything new that I found enjoyable; it’s just a decent song

Decent song. Jesse going off as usual, that chorus absolutely owns. JT bringing absolutely nothing interesting to the table, as expected. Excited for this regardless.

Also, that album art is super reminiscent of Colors by BtBaM

I was searching for a lyric video to see what errbody is talking about and the somewhat ridiculous amount of 'reaction' videos that popped up for the song instead made me sad

There's no questioning the great musicianship here, but the lyrics fall into 'reiterating the obvious'.

Snowblood = Divisionary > House of glass, Augment had virtually the same amount of cleans this does on some tracks, obviously Augment is more technical, but technicality is not everything

It's sad that Erra have to rely on breakdowns for majority to be wow'd by their music, I enjoyed the minimalistic approach of this song quite a bit

Yeah, but removing the one thing band is good at is making them look bad

I'm talking about the guitarwork, not the breakdowns

Tundra

They've done breakdowns in very creative ways in the past, it's definitely my critique towards Snowblood, but House of glass is just a mess to me. Riffs seem less creative than they where in the past, perhaps they are running out of ideas, nothing really wow'd me on Snowblood or House of glass in terms of guitar work, besides maybe the solo in Snowblood

i will say, the reason most people wish for the augment days was Garrison's vocals and lyrics. he was talking about annunaki and shit and had lows for dayss lol

and then we got jt trying his BEST here and snowblood and just barely being passable by old erra standards lol

eye of god was done w sumerian so thats why its not here. really really fuckin good song tho ill determine when the album drops whether or not to playlist it in there since rn i have it on neon where disarray is as thats the only song i flat out dont like of theirs, but given its different production value it sounds a little out of place

I would prefer another song over Eye of God, it's a good song but think it gets hyped up a bit too much, pretty standard Erra track if you ask me
