It seems that they have too many vocalists...give one of them a guitar or something...

Cool
Interested to hear more of their approach to having both vocalists now
| |
Damn didn't know these guys were still doing shit.
The last thing I remember of theirs was the music video with the old man and his trained falcon and it kept cutting to the vocalist randomly yelling at the sky
| |
Crazy good song too. Sounds it like it's coming right out of the 2000s. The music, the haircuts, the music video production, etc
| |
i would hate this if it was any other band probably but theyre just so god damn good at it
| |
Not sure what the point is having two vocalists with the same range, but who am I to judge.
Song is a banger tho, glad to see Ed back.
| |
Pretty sure it's a want not need situation with the vocalists. They were doing a ton of touring and Ed came back to do some shows with them and I guess they all just had a great time and wanted to keep it going. Similar ranges yeah, but their tones are still different enough imo.
| |
Song is okay, nothing to write home about
| |
Yeah, they have pretty distinguishable voices so I don't mind. I wonder if they are gonna go back and forth between harsh vox, too. From the video, it looks like Green did them all in this song
I love trade offs in vox so I will be pretty excited about them doing a full album with the two of them when April gets closer
| |
I haven't listened yet, instead i went back through some of their order stuff.. amazing. They were an early screamo band that I listened to growing up and somehow forgot about. Will have to go through some of their later material. Glad they are still creating.
| |
All y’all complaining about the two vocalists thing are forgetting when this dude had his literal twin brother as a co-vocalist in Arusha lmao
| |
Been waiting like 8? years since Empire for this. Love em
| |
Wait that intro sounds SO much like Astronoid haha. I really like how this song sounds though, having two vocalists is fun, especially them working together on those harmonics. Good stuff!
| |
The Arusha guys were twins? That's crazy lol
| |
They should ditch Ed and let the new guy sing
| |
Not gonna lie I loved it
| |
Technically not the first song to feature both of them. The rework of Awaiting The Flood had both of them in it. Love this song and this band. The tandem
Vocalist thing seems to work for them so I’m excited for April

I do not remember the cleans being this unbearably whiney and obnoxious.
| |
Ed's singing has always been annoying, it's just been a while since we had to listen to it. Paul Green is far superior.
That being said, this song is a grower and I now think it is a certified banga
| |
for some reason, the shorter singer with the '09 haircut reminds me of the singer from Anatomy of the Bear.
Overall, never having heard this, very cool sound. Doesn't seem like post metal so much as ambient rock tho. Dig the 2 vocalist approach. It's like a reverse, British volumes lol
| |
It's because Ed is also the singer of Anatomy of the Bear
| |
Lol
| |
what! thats whats up man. great band
| |
Ed and Paul compliment each other perfectly
| |
I dug Ed's screams on their early stuff when that's all he did, but his cleans are fuuuuuuucking obnoxious. New guy has a legit good voice AND good harsh vocals. Belong + Betray was the best thing they did since A Fragile Hope
| |
Ed's screams still rip but the cleans do grate somewhat
