So stoked!!! Can't wait for the new album.

It was okay, I like the guitar work

Better than anything off Arbiter agreed
| |
Whoa, 9 minutes. Stoked to check this out!
| |
There ain't been no mention of a new album
| |
This was phenomenal. I love the guitar work and spacey vibes. Super happy to see Ryan back with them
| |
Song and music video are both 10/10. I absolutely fucking love these guys. So stoked they have their original lineup back.
| |
I'm loving this song. Especially the second half is amazing
| |
Yes, it flows so damn well
| |
Arbiter was amazing so it's going to be interesting to see if they can top that.
| |
If the new album is anything like this it'll be their best since Satellite Years. No joke.
| |
2nd half was pretty amazing
| |
OK so with the "new album" stuff I was referring to this Instragram post https://www.instagram.com/p/ByDoXjCAoZu/
which admittedly does say a "next movement of musical endeavors" and not an album. However I'm pretty sure they mean an album. lol
Song is amazing. First half gives you the post-hardcore, second half gives you the atmosphere.
| |
this is phenomenal. I found it on k-l a while ago and have been jamming it a bunch. this is a perfect exploration of their arbiter sound. I really do hope this is a part of a new album, but I would maybe say an EP at this point
| |
Ah didn't know about that Insta post, awesome!!
| |
2nd half was great. Would like instrumentals tbh.
| |
That was good
| |
ya this rules. the mixing is awesome too, the bass is so audible and crunchy
| |
This is great! I didn't know I wanted new Hopesfall until Arbiter, and now this. Makes me excited for where they might be headed next.
| |
Magnetic North was their best. Nothing tops it for me. This is pretty solid, looking forward to more from them just the same.
| |
Satellite Years over everything - but Arbiter and Magnetic North are both completely amazing albums. Arbiter was such a great surprise, I can't wait for the next thing from Hopesfall.
| |
Satellite Years, debut, and Magnetic North for me. Arbiter is their second worst album lmao
| |
don't really dig the vocals, but the music is pretty great.
| |
I think everything the band ever released was quality. A Types is a great record in hindsight, kind of occupies a unique position considering it's like this accessible, catchy rock album with these random heavy/spacy parts that keep things interesting.
| |
A Types is criminally underrated here. "Champion Beyond Blessing" and "The Ones" are two of my favorite songs from these guys. The singles are awesome as well. I think the drumming is a little bit stale in comparision to the rest of their work but the riffs are there and the songwriting is as good as ever.
| |
Would be more enjoyable if the second half transitioned in to like an actual post-rock segment instead of .. that
| |
Totally agree! Those are probably some of my least favorite songs on A Types haha, but I still enjoy them! My favorites are Owl and Matchmaker's Haven. I just really enjoy that record and wish it had found more of the appeal that the band was looking for. The songs have hooks and depth, I think it was just marketed really poorly.
The end of The Ones is awesome though. Like what the hell is that doing in an alt rock song? It's awesome.
| |
Man, these guys. Can't stop listening. I'm gonna over-do it well before it comes out on any LP.
| |
Jay mentioned on Facebook that the new material is leaning towards a heavier side. Looking forward to it for sure.
| |
"Would be more enjoyable if the second half transitioned in to like an actual post-rock segment instead of .. that"
That's literally what it did...
| |
"Jay mentioned on Facebook that the new material is leaning towards a heavier side. Looking forward to it for sure."
Every band ever says that.
| |
Yea and itβs never been true a single time in the history of music
| |
You can count on one hand when it's not PR bullshit.
Underoath, Pantera...

Still waitin for an album, hey storm?
| |
Indeed. Luckily a couple good bands have distracted me enough that I donβt cry.

Tea in a stormcup sighting
| |
HUM has really done it for me, thankfully. Them, and my growing obsession with dad rock.
| |
SpaceX needs to get us into space so we can find this album, seems the band may have lost it...
| |
hahahaha that's a good one, came on here to say the lyrics for this song are sooo good
