Solid stuff. 6 years has been far to damn long for a follow up to Lun.
This band just doesn't do it for me, as much as the concept of a female-fronted djent band sounds like it should be right up my alley. That spoken-word part was cringe.
Yeah, most of the lyrics on Lun were pretty bad I thought, but I thoroughly enjoy the actual sound a lot. I love Djelmash's voice (and the rest of her is pretty nice too), so I'll take it!
Wish she would just sing in her native language.
Holy shit, they’re still alive!
I really enjoyed LUN but this isn't doing it for me. The spoken word section is indeed cringe worthy.
This is just bad front to back. Sucks to wait so long for something only for it to suck then :/
so fucking stoked
to quote their song, I'm very Indifferent about this new one
My disappointment in this single is exceedingly high. Hopefully its not a portent of things to come :/
Killing in the Djent... Nice, though. Didn't pay much attention to LUN, yet I adore David's work. Is Aleksandra Djelmas the alias of Aleksandra Radosavljevic, the singer on Bilo 3.0? Their voice are very similar (both awesome)
Digging: Siavash Amini and Saaad - All Lanes Of Lilac Evening
@Mythodea no they're two different singers, Djelmas was also on Bilo 3.0 and she's the singer in Destiny Potato/Sordid Pink, whereas Radosavljevic does vocals in another band, Above The Earth.
What a band name... Destiny Potato! Lol
Digging: Flourishing - The Sum of All Fossils
Probably a good choice to rename the band.
I can see where the song is kinda catchy. Not amazing, but catchy and I like Djelmas's voice.
I think most of the delay in new material is this band alternating with Micic's solo stuff... which I hope we get more of soon.
@Cloakanddagger Oh, I messed up who's who, then. Thanks!
@AtomicWaste WBtM was a mediocre release from David. I have high expectations for the follow-up
absolutely adored WBtM it's one of my favorite albums of all time, I'm more excited for his solo stuff than his Destiny Potato/ Sordid Pink stuff
yeah, it doesn't sound real good, but I also think LUN was a 3 at best soooo. . .
Goodness. That video is so cringe.
But the song was okay I guess.
