Haven't really listened to these guys in ages, but that chorus is great.

Actually dig the melodic sections of this song, but for the most part it sounds like ABR by the numbers. Easily their best album artwork however. Dat color pallette.

Jake said this album is more straightforward than what they've been doing lately. I don't love this song but I agree with bloc, I'm happy they didn't throw some random shit in here.

"titans"

And yeah, stack this against something like "Who Will Guard the Guardians" and it's completely lifeless.

Hate is pretty much a rule here once a band reaches a certain level of notoriety.

Agreed with Brett.
This band deserves the recognition they get and this song obliterates.
Jesus, those vocals are godly.

Song was pretty by the numbers ABR, not bad but didn't blow me away. Last time I was wowed by them was Rescue & Restore which is their best

Was kind of sad to see the prog fall by the wayside for more traditional metalcore. It’s one of my favorite things about them because it makes them stand out. Nonetheless this is a good song, just not what I was expecting.

It's an August Burns Red song; simple as that. It's good. I wish they'd try to inject some new ideas in terms of versatility (like in "Leveler" and "Rescue and Restore"), but 'if it's not broke, don't fix it'.

Everyone saying this is just ABR as usual clearly don't listen to much ABR. This is by far the most streamlined and straightforward they've sounded since Messengers. This isn't Messengers though, because the songwriting is more refined and balanced. This has a pretty clear repetitive chorus, which ABR songs can have, but they're never this defined. And the vocalist is experimenting with some unusual tonalities for him.

I'm not saying they sound like a completely different band, but all the reactions I've seen to this song have noticed differences in their sound.

They've always been pretty consistent in terms of song writing and aesthetic and they're fantastic livebut they're formula is very tried and tested. I will await the full album methinks.

While I dig the return to their roots, this song was boring as hell for me. “Invisible Enemy” player right after and really highlighted how meh this song is. I’ll wait for the full album to completely judge but this didn’t excite me.

I mean, besides Jake experimenting with different vocal styles, this is ABR doing what they do best, and that pushing out solid music without pushing the sonic barriers too far.
