The GZA is back with a new song, "The Mexican". The track features Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, Hanni El Khatib and Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Ruban Nielson.

The track won't appear on the rappers upcoming album Dark Matter, which drops later this year.

yeah I've found recent wu-tang beats have been trying too hard to be exciting. i miss the sort of minimalism of their earlier shit

cool song, great rapping, but again that beat needs to calm down.

I bet his album won't even have a CONCEPT or any theatrical skits. Amateur hour. What does this guy think we want to hear good lyrics? What I want is beats, skits, flow and black people comparing their penis' to famous landmarks.

Amazing cover! Though you guys do know this is a cover of the original by Babe Ruth right? (popularized by Jellybean in the 80's)

so fuckn generic.beat is like meh. Morello is so fckin predictable. I mean you listen to this knowing Morello is somewhere over there but you can't hear him and suddenly comes the Ahhhh, it's morello staccato solo, once again! futile.

"huge part of"

I believe he means as an individual. Obviously the wu-tang clan isn't overrated but you ask a rap fan who GZA and most couldn't even tell you.

if you're a rap fan and you don't know who gza is you're not really a rap fan

GZA is definitely underrated, his entire discography is money, but lame fake wutang fans don't listen to anything but Liquid Swords. Even people that know Wu-Tang hardly appreciate GZA, let alone these generation Y kids who found Wu-Tang through Drake and don't even know GZA by name.

Saw the artists involved and was expecting a disaster but this isn't bad. I don't see myself ever wanting to listen more than a few times but it works.
