Tons better than their last track.
| |
They need to feature the clean vocals more...
Still expecting the album to be about a 3/5, but this song was pretty great.
| |
shits dope
| |
nice, a lot better than their previously released track
these guys have a good ear for melody but most of their songs don't reflect that :/
| |
i wonder if the labels make these bands do all these terrible album covers that just showcase the most instagram looking shit
| |
Finally a good song from these guys, it's like almost every label starts out releasing the weakest songs of a new album in my opinion.
| |
Much better than the other song, revived some hope for this album. Cleans are nice as well.
| |
this is the thing i've enjoyed most from them so far on this album, super good
| |
This will be played at volumes zero and mute.
| |
Tons better than their last track.[2]
| |
Yeah, enjoyed that. I ended up listening to the last album a fair bit so I'm looking forward to No Sleep being released.
| |
Actually enjoyed this a lot. Especially the second half. I'm somewhat excited for the album now
| |
I think I prefer their approach from VIA as far as brutality goes but this is an okay track.
| |
Djenty core band meets radio rock.
| |
no thanks
| |
Wow I love this song actually. Liked their previous stuff so will definitely check out the album.
| |
I think I prefer their approach from VIA as far as brutality goes
i'm sorry but what.
| |
^^^Right? That album was more groovy than brutal.
| |
Much improved from that terrible previous song.
| |
This sounds like Volumes to me. Great track 'nuff said.
| |
terrible, and i liked via
| |
Idk the soft parts mixed with "brutal" parts just doesn't jive to me.
| |
those cleans are pretty catchy
| |
those cleans are pretty catchy
| |
Awesome , ya bud! Just going for a rip
| |
best track they've done.
"they sold the fuck out" classic. lol.
| |
They sold the fuck out. This is warped gay. Makes sense i guess.
lol the ignorance is astounding
| |
Their new work is pretty dope.
| |
first song i've heard from them is kinda meh.
this one is good though. the cleans while pretty easy to pull off, sound good so it's catchy.
| |
Zzzzzzzzzzzz
So boring, no energy
| |
I found VIA to be a harder album from front to back than most bands in their genre. Aside from the many slower interludes on their debut, the songs were more hard than soft. Then again, I saw them live and their live set may make their album seen louder than it actually is with the memory of their show. They played a brutally loud set.
| |
well i mean it is a metal album so it is going to be heavy but in terms of the entire metal genre i would hardly call volumes brutal or heavy. there are a lot of heavier bands than this.
| |
I really dug The Concept of Dreaming, but these last two tracks haven't done anything for me.
| |
Wow, this is tenfold better than the last single I heard from these guys.
| |
last song felt like an emmure track (almost) in terms of musicianship. this one sounded a lot better. i like it when volumes actually has some melody
| |
still sucks and that stupid chugging they do just isn't helping
| |
nah
| |
nah[2]
it's not that bad from an objective standpoint.
from a subjective, i like it, so there's that
| |
Holy fuck this song rules
| |
agreed bloc, nice to see you enjoyed it too
| |
Yeah like it could be the Edge of the Earth of this album, you know?
| |
agreed. i also hope that there are more songs like this. love melodic volumes the most
| |
Yeah I dunno why they don't make most of their shit like this. Seems like common sense
| |
you have forgotten the golden rule, bloc
"Remember, you’re making music for bros, not musicians. Anything that sounds unique or good will confuse the bros; a confused bro is not a moshing bro."
| |
i do love that quote, lol
| |
Omg best quote ever, love it
| |
i feel like it was coined to describe an emmure album, lol
| |
Any idea who is doing the cleans? I'm really digging them, as long as they are used in moderation throughout the album. I agree that it doesn't sound as "groovy" as Via, but I'm sure the album will be worth a few listens.
| |
one of the guitarists i'm sure
| |
Apparently it's one of the vocalists doing the cleans on this, Michael Barr. That's pretty impressive given that we always hear him screaming instead.
| |
oh really? neat.
i wonder how it sounds live though
| |
Yeah same.
They use a backing track for the cleans and just scream along to it, which is terrible. But recently he's actually been doing them.
| |
this sucks so hard lol
| |
ugh. backing tracks for cleans are the worst. glad to hear they actually preform them live now.
| |
