Yeah, it's cool, but nothing mindblowing though. It's that record you bang your head to when you're driving or when having friends over, drinking and smoking some.

Great. I hope it's an upgrade from their last two albums.

ohh I can't wait, preordered the vinyl.. should be here next week! So I won't ruin the surprise with the stream! I actually thought that Mastermind was their best since God Says No, so I do have expectations on this one...

MONSTER MAG

Great band that had a little bit of a run of mediocrity but still put out some memorable tunes on the last few albums.

Up through Powertrip they were unstoppable.

God Says No was the last album of theirs I really loved.

I, for one, liked everything they did up to 4-Way Diablo.

The new album is better than the previous one, but at the moment, I find it to be too "quiet" for its own good.

ok, quiet in a "Dopes to infinity" sense, like calm and pschedelic or just tame?

It has some bluesy, acoustic numbers (The Duke, Stay Tuned) and some of the tracks are more dynamic (I Live Behind The Clouds, Paradise).

@Donchivo

A bit of both, actually. The album is solid, but the band has done it way better in the past. I'm between 3-3.5 atm.

End Of Time, The Duke and Mindless Ones are good.

Yeah! I get what you mean, i thought of 4-way diablo as solid too ...and thats exactly why it disappointed me. solid is just not enough for this band!

Still stoked about this: Some of their calmer songs are favorites of mine like black balloon, dead christmas or queen of you.
