That was very disappointing. I thought Shadows said in an interview that they were going more raw with it, and no cheesy harmonies like on the "hail to the king" verses.

Meh, it wasn't awful, but tbh I can't really judge from 30 seconds of a song that could be up to 8 minutes long, given their back catalogue.

Still in shock about that album cover though. God damn that thing sucks balls, it's worse than the s/t, and they didn't even make an effort with that!

Of course we can't judge a whole song and album by a 30 second preview, but Shadows is contradicting what he said with that preview, and that was one very disappointing preview for me, sounded like a bad Iron Maiden copy.

The album cover doesn't bother me as much, I just wish it was like City of Evil's and not so cartoony.

I think they just picked a really bad part of the song to pluck the preview from. Sounds like it's gaining momentum, and then the preview ends, and you don't get to hear what the build-up leads into.

The only bands I can think of at A7X's level(Slipknot, Metallica, Bullet For My Valentine &
Disturbed) all get hate.
