Motley Crue Movie

Well, it's about time. According to Billboard.com, Motley Crue bass player Nikki Sixx has announced that the band's infamously juicy biography, The Dirt, is set to become a feature film. Few (or more accurately, no) details have been released at this time, but Sixx claims the project is indeed in the works.

The Dirt, which has just been released as a handsome trade paperback, is perhaps the greatest rock 'n' roll bio of all time. All four Motley Crue members — Sixx, Tommy Lee, Vince Neil and Mick Mars — were interviewed separately and they openly delve into the dirtiest, squishiest and most disgusting details of the Motley Crue story. We can't imagine what the film will be like — the story is so complex that it could easily be stretched into a six-hour mini-series and so debauched that it would be tough to make it anything less than a full blown porno. We're not even going to try to speculate on who may play the individual members of the Crue: They're far too old to play themselves (most of them, with the glaring exception of Mick Mars, were under the age of majority when the saga begins) and there just aren't a lot of tall gangly, super skinny Hollywood actors out there who could take on the roles of Tommy and Nikki.

They would have to whittle the original text, which sits at well over 400 pages, down a little to fit the whole story into a two-hour movie. To refresh your memories, here are some classic Dirt scenes that we would hate to see hit the cutting room floor:

# When the band toured with Ozzy Osbourne and witnessed the Prince Of Darkness snort a line of ants off the ground while wearing a woman's dress.

# Tommy's girlfriend (charmingly nicknamed Bullwinkle) projectile ejaculating across the room.

# The members of the band wrapping burritos around their genitals so their girlfriends wouldn't smell the scent of other women on them.

# Axl Rose challenging Vince Neil to a fight and then chickening out.

# Tommy and Nikki tearing apart a Japanese passenger train and belting an unassuming bystander in the head with a bottle of booze.

Ah, the memories. Like we said, we have no idea as to when this baby will actually hit theatres, but when it does, we're sure you won't be able to escape it. Yeah!

the book was good so it can be really funny with all the shit they did. The latter part of the book was not that good though when i think about it, too much sentimental shit from nikki...
