Secrets lose vocalist 2013-04-20 by ZoneOut | 10 Comments | Xander Bourgeois, screamer for Rise Records Metalcore group, Secrets, has decided to leave the band.
He is quoted as saying "Hey everyone, its Xander here.
as we know, all good things come to an end, BUT this is definitely not the end for neither myself nor Secrets, but I have made the decision to quit Secrets in order to maintain my sobriety and also make a new band for myself. I love everyone in this band and wish Secrets the best, I hope all of you can understand where I am coming from, I love you guys so much and thank you for the abundance in support throughout the past two years. see you soon.

It's sad Xander left the band, I loved The Ascent (though I don't listen to Risecore that much). I am interested now in the way Secrets will go from this point on and in Xander's new band. They won't be touring as aggressive as Secrets does, but that's okay for me - I wasn't able to see Secrets live at all, cheers from Germany. :c
