Travis Barker Recuperating... 2007-02-09 by Jom | 6 Comments | According to bassist/singer Mark Hoppus of Plus-44 via the band's mySpace, drummer Travis Barker is slowly recuperating from his broken arm that he suffered in October while he was playing drums. Doctors would later announce that his bones are incredibly brittle and hypothesized that it is a result of Barker's vegetarian lifestyle (http://www.sputnikmusic.com/news.php?newsid=2442).
Barker will now wear a thingamajig called a bone stimulator to try to expedite the healing process. Doctor's other orders: a casual return to the drum kit as rehabilitation.
At press time, it is unsure as to when Barker will be fit enough to return to the band as it tours to promote When Your Heart Stops Beating, +44's debut.

well if hes that committed to drumming maybe he should start eating meat.

Yeah seriously like I'm not against people who are vegetarians but like if this is what it's doing to him then he needs to eat some meat. I mean he's skinny enough as it is.

It's not that he needs to eat meat.
It's that he needs to eat correctly. That doesn't mean he HAS to eat meat, you can be a vegetarian and be perfectly fine.
